Yes I am alive!

Hello to everyone again!

As the title suggests I am a live just very very busy! Ok, first things first....

I want to extend a HUGE thank you to my beautiful Mum and my wonderful sister-in-law Melissa for their help packing and sorting as we prepared to move. Honestly without them I would probably still be back in bairnsdale trying to get my act together ... lol! So...

Mum and Melissa

You help was HUGELY appreciated!

We have now been here in Delegate for 2 weeks. Can you believe it?! Time really flies. I haven't got nearly as much unpacking done that I would have liked but with everyone sick including another hospital visit for Anna recently (more on that in a minute) I have spent most of my time carrying babies, wiping noses and changing awful nappies! (Also the reason I fail to blog as much as I would like) I tell you its times like these that wish I was using disposables - I have stuck to my guns though and kept with my yummy soft MCN's. I know I would miss them ... lol! Now Anna's hospital visit. Nothing to major, after having a little cold for a few days she started having some trouble breathing and coughing a lot. From our previous experiences I erred on the safe side and headed off to the 'local' hospital (30 minutes away)
--------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------

So I'll try again to get this post finished and published. I'm being super lazy to and some of this is a cut and paste job from an email I sent recently --- shhhhh!

The kids are fine, Anna is recovering. She required some Ventolin through the Neb and is back on Predmix (a steroid) to help here lungs recover. They have also upped her Ventolin to 6 puffs 4 times a day (from 2 puffs twice a day) and put her back on Flixotide (a 'preventer' - at least it is meant to 'prevent') twice a day to see if that helps until the weather warms up again. Apart from that she is quite happy, although she hates her meds! We are still getting the run around for Zach unfortunately. The local Paediatric OT has recently quit I just found out and 7 phone calls later I finally got in touch with one in Queanbeyan but she was at lunch - that would be right! - so I'm waiting for her to call me back. I'm actually quite a bit worried about him. Although he is bright and happy enough the problems with his legs are not good. There are a few things that could be the problem but I would have to go in depth to explain them so I will leave that for now. Just pray for him, hopefully we can sort it out soon. We will be seeing the Paediatrician in October so if he isn't improving by then then we can take it to the next level. Anna will also need to see a new Opthamoligist regarding her eye/s too. Oh boy, it never ends.

Thankfully Mitchell is well. Brett put up his trampoline
over the weekend and he loves it. He is loving the country lifestyle and we will start back at a playgroup hopefully this week or next. I think he misses playing with the other kids. Ashlee is LOVING Bombala Primary School like you would not believe!! Yes it certainly is a HUGE change from the girl that didn't want to leave Bairnsdale. Today they had a teachers strike until 11am and she was VERY disappointed that she couldn't go to school this morning. Quite funny really. I finally got her uniform order today so she will be able to wear that now.

I'm just going to post this now and come back later wit
h up dates. We had an appointment today with the health nurse showing maybe another problem with Zachary {cry} but I'll go into that later. Please pray for little babies. They have been through so much and really just need a break!

I'll leave you with some photos (that I think we are n
ow revisiting) to brighten your day!

My!! haven't they all grown so much!

By request ..... part 2!

Ok, so I have a couple of minutes in between putting Zach and Anna in bed - who again refused their dinner - and putting Mitch to bed, EARLY! He is driving me insane tonight! I'm sure it is just from boredom because as I said before we are totally house bound at the moment, by choice. Looks like we will have to get out tomorrow!

Here are a couple of random photos for you from our first week in beautiful Delegate....

Here is the view from the back veranda. It really is quite beautiful and the photo's don't really do it justice

The cat - oops! I mean Oreo (I am constant calling him 'The Cat' and thought I should probably use his name) - enjoying the sunshine in his new home

'The' nappies are all set up and back in use again - I really don't like disposables!

We currently have 'this' (see below) in our hallway that was left here. Although it is rather a beautiful piano it just takes up to much valuable space to keep it

Mitchell finally has his much loved 'Ferrari' bed up and has knocked back sleeping with Daddy on a few occasions because of it ... lol

And this the other part of the room. There is not to much space but it isn't as cramped as the photo makes it look

Here is 'our' room. Not to keen on the pink walls but it cosy and has plenty of build-in wardrobe so I'm happy

So there you have it. A sneak peak into our new home (for now!). Its nothing special, its old and its a bit to small for my liking (especially with the 4 kiddies) but its home for now and it is warm. The lifestyle is laid back and I have only driven the car once since we moved here!

Better head off.....

There is some of this to attend to....

And plenty of these to keep me busy....

Good night all!

By request.....

We have now been living in (cold - but not to cold) Delegate for a week (and no it hasn't snowed here yet but Bombala had 2 inches!). I must say that I am surprisingly happy and comfortable. I am s...l...o...w...l...y... getting boxes unpacked and sometimes going slightly batty looking for things that I NEED and have yet to be unpacked. Also since we have HUGELY downsized for the time being I am finding it almost impossible to find places to put things. For example; our old house had a lovely ample sized cupboard in the laundry but this one, well there is actually no cupboard at all.....Hmmmmm. What to do with all my cleaning supplies, toilet paper and vacuum cleaner - to name a few - I guess they are going to have to find a new home - for now.

The kids have all been sick, Zach and Anna being the worst. They spent what seemed like two entire days (and nights!) crying and even now 9 times out of 10 won't even eat. Now that's not anything to out of the ordinary for Zach but Anna would normally eat ANYTHING! (Oh, but last night we discovered she doesn't like peas - so back to disguising them again.) Mitchell has also had the same thing (what ever it is....) and only today has started to pick up and being more like the normal Mitch again. I also think that he is getting a little bored as we normally head out during the week for playgroup and play dates etc but at the moment we are pretty much home bound unpacking - I swear it is never going to end.

I'm going to have to come back later with more news and some photos (I do have some photo's for those of you that have requested a little view into our new life) as I need to get to the 'general store' before they close at 5:30pm! The joys of living in a small town! Also Zach has discovered me in the study and is crying at the gate.

Just quickly....Ashlee is now home from her second day at her new school and by all accounts is really loving it and quite the little miss popular...but I'll share more about that later.

Photo's nearly finished uploading so make sure you check back later.

Were Here!

Hello everyone! I'm back online! We are finally moved and last night set up the computer desk and computer. Everything went smoothly apart from a few damaged items that we will need to claim but I'll go into that later.

Ashlee and Mitchell have gone for a walk and Zach and Anna are sleeping. Brett has gone back to Bairnsdale for the night to finish cleaning up the house and grab the rest of our stuff (that the removalists couldn't fit on ... grrr. We will go into that later too). So the house is all quite and I'm just about to get into some more unpacking. I'll be back tonight.....

Busy busy and some EXCITING news!

Well, blogging has been slipping again. Things are getting busy around here. The house is still forsale but we have had a few people through since I last posted. No offers yet though {insert sad face here}. We now have our block of land on the market as well. We have been considering selling it for a while now and figure we really should reluctantly let it go while it can still fetch a bit of money.

Our move is getting closer and closer. I'm really starting to dread the whole thing, I hate packing boxes! Also with 2 little ones that go through a few clothes and other things everyday - what do you pack?! What do you leave out?! What do you do with the stuff you have 'left out' once everything else is packed? Not to mention the amount of 'stuff' we seem to have accumulated in the last 5 years! Were does it all come from?!

Luckily it seems I may have found one solution to a problem I have had....what to do with all this 'baby' stuff that I have and the twins no longer need or use. For example: one cot, a carseat, 2 rockers, HEAPS of baby clothes sizing from 00000 up to about 0 in both boys and girls colours, cot mobile, a TOMY sound and lights, a cradle and a lot more. At Twins playgroup on Monday a young couple came that are currently 30 weeks pregnant with twins (well dah! lol) and are really interested in buying a lot of this stuff off me as they really weren't planning on having a baby right now let alone two! So fingers crossed she takes it all, if she buys most of it I might just chuck the rest in for free. Less stuff to move in the end - did I tell you that the removalist company (well two) quoted us between $1700 and $2,200 to move us!!!!!!!

Now for the exciting news ........ Anna is crawling!!!!! She looks soooo cute and is just so proud of herself. May be not so exciting for you but to me - I thought it would never happen. They are almost 14 months old.

On another topic. I entered a competition over at DigiDiva Designs to win this cute little kit...

Well guess what! ...... I won! So I am just waiting for them to approve the coupon over at Gotta Pixel and then I can starting scrapping with it. I feel so chuffed, I RARELY win anything lol! If you like this kit you can grab it here.

I haven't done a lot of scrapping lately but I did complete one today...

Journalling says: "No matter what we did you would always end up like this
in the cot you shared with your twin brother Zachary.
I think you were after your own space and just trying to ESCAPE!

As for the nappies.....I have sewn and snapped Zach's nappy. He has worn it and it is in the wash. It works beautifully and looks and feels so nice! I must remember to take a photo as soon as it is dry. Anna's nappy is sewn. I just have to finishing overlocking the egde of the insert and put the snaps on and its ready to go. Hopefully in the next day or so as I have a LARGE box of nappies here that I have to take a photo of and list forsale over at Essential Baby first. They really need to go, I have to many!

Better go now.....and remember to make sure you leave a comment and say hi!

Take care!
